Keep your Switch+ Rolling for Years

Maintenance

Regular Inspections:

  • Check the trolley regularly for any signs of wear and tear.

Lubrication:

  • Please do not lubricate the moving parts and especially not the wheel axis. Just clean them with a dry towel or paper. Lubricating will only worsen the problem due to attracting dirt and debris.

Brake System:

  • Check the brake system regularly to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Clean the brake components to remove any dirt or debris that may hinder performance.

Cleaning

General Cleaning:

  • Wipe down the frame, handle, and other parts of the trolley with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and grass.
  • Use mild soap and water for a more thorough cleaning. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as they can damage the surface.
  • Use the water and air compressors at the clubhouse (if they have them) to clean the wheels easily.

Wheels:

  • Remove the wheels periodically and clean them with water to remove mud and debris.
  • Inspect the wheel bearings for any dirt buildup and clean them if necessary.

Toolbox and Accessories:

  • Clean the toolbox and any accessories with a damp cloth.
  • Ensure the toolbox is dry before storing any items inside to prevent mold or mildew.

Storage

Dry Storage:

  • Store the trolley in a dry place when not in use. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or harsh weather conditions.

Seasonal Maintenance

Pre-Season Check:

  • Before the start of each golf season, perform a thorough inspection and cleaning of the trolley.
  • Check all moving parts, lubricate where necessary, and ensure everything is functioning properly.
  1. End-of-Season Care:
  • At the end of the season, clean the trolley thoroughly and perform any necessary maintenance.
  • Store the trolley in a dry, sheltered place during the off-season.

Troubleshooting

  • If the trolley is not rolling smoothly, check the wheels and axles for dirt and debris.
  • If the handle is loose, check the levers and tighten them as needed.
  • For any other issues, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
